Our resort has been owned and operated by the Dennis Carlson family since 1963 and established as the first resort on Deer Lake in 1921 by Dennis' grandfather. We are now seeing 4th generation guests returning year after year.
Hideaway is ideal for adults and children as well as serious fisherman. Deer Lake is the biggest in a chain of lakes in a semi-remote region of northern Minnesota.
